रामा फार्म्स™ आपकी व्यक्तिगत जानकारी की सुरक्षा को गंभीरता से लेता है। हम केवल वही डेटा एकत्र करते हैं जो आवश्यक है, उसे भारत में संग्रहीत करते हैं (Supabase, मुंबई), और किसी विज्ञापन नेटवर्क या थर्ड पार्टी के साथ साझा नहीं करते। आप किसी भी समय अपना डेटा देखने, सुधारने, या हटाने का अनुरोध कर सकते हैं — privacy@ramafarms.in पर लिखें।
1. Who we are
Rama Farms™ (operated by Akshay Chouksey, Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh) is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and DPDP Rules 2025. We determine the purpose and means of processing your personal data.
Our service providers — Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and Meta (WhatsApp delivery) — act as Data Processors under our instruction and under data processing agreements.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the minimum data needed for each stated purpose:
- Inquiry submissions: name, email address, phone number (optional), and any message you provide.
- Farmer app (authenticated): phone number, village, land details, crop records, NF observations — collected only after explicit consent during onboarding.
- FRM and admin users: name, email, phone — required for role access.
We do not collect: Aadhaar, PAN, bank account details, khasra documents, health or medical data, caste, religion, or any data from passive site visitors (no tracking pixels, no behavioural profiling, no fingerprinting).
3. Why we collect it
Each purpose uses only the data it requires, with a separate consent toggle in the app:
- Responding to your inquiry: name, email, message.
- Agricultural advisory: farm profile, crop records — farmer app only, after consent.
- WhatsApp advisory delivery: phone number — only if you opt in.
- Operational analytics: aggregate, anonymised traffic via Vercel Analytics (no personal data).
4. Where we store it
All personal data is stored in Indiaon Supabase's Mumbai data centre (ap-south-1), in compliance with DPDP residency principles. Application functions run on Vercel's Mumbai region (bom1). No personal data is stored outside India as part of normal operations.
Meta (WhatsApp) routes messages globally as part of its infrastructure. This is disclosed here; it is standard practice and covered by Meta's own privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
- Inquiry submissions: 2 years from submission, then deleted.
- Farmer and FRM account data: retained while the account is active, plus 90 days after deletion for backup recovery. Deleted on your request.
- Anonymised analytics: retained indefinitely (no personal data).
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you may:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Nominate: nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.
- Grievance: raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (see Section 11 below).

7. Cookies and analytics
This site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising or behavioural profiling. We use Vercel Analytics in cookieless mode, which measures aggregate, anonymised page views without processing personal data. No consent banner is required.
Essential session cookies may be set on authenticated app surfaces (farmer, FRM, admin) to maintain your login session. These are not used for tracking.
8. Children
This platform is not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact privacy@ramafarms.in and we will delete it promptly.
9. Visitors from outside India
This site operates under Indian law — the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and DPDP Rules 2025. If you are accessing from outside India, your local laws may also apply. We are a Hindi-first, India-focused platform; we do not actively market to EU, US, or other international audiences.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
